Eight-colour silk PLA set

This eight-spool pack supplies 1 kg of 1.75 mm silk-finish PLA in green, red, yellow, blue, violet, copper, silver and orange. Each spool is vacuum-sealed with desiccant to protect the material from humidity. The filament is made from 100 % new corn-starch-based PLA and is produced to a dimensional tolerance of ± 0.03 mm. It suits hobbyists and makers who want a ready palette of glossy colours for decorative prints.

Consistent extrusion over long prints

The tight ± 0.03 mm diameter control keeps flow steady during extended jobs, reducing the risk of under- or over-extrusion that can appear on lower-grade spools. Natural, non-toxic PLA with minimal shrinkage and warping helps layers adhere reliably across large surface areas. Vacuum sealing with desiccant preserves low moisture content, so the filament feeds cleanly without popping or blistering even after storage. Recommended nozzle temperature is 200 °C to 220 °C (392 °F to 428 °F).

1.75 mm standard compatibility

The 1.75 mm diameter matches the most common desktop extruder format and works with printers such as MakerBot, RepRap, FlashForge, UP, Afinia, Mendel, Solidoodle 2, Printrbot LC and MakerGear M2. Spools measure 7.88 in (20.015 cm) diameter, 2.69 in (6.83 cm) width and have a 2.20 in (5.59 cm) hub hole, fitting standard spool holders. Total net weight is 8 kg (17.60 lb).
