Suited for office workloads

Buyers who need GPU compute density, larger memory footprints or more than two processor sockets should evaluate other platforms. PERC H730 RAID controller with 1 GB cache

The installed Dell PERC H730 12 Gb/s SAS/SATA controller is the single component that defines the storage capabilities of this server. It supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode and includes a battery-backed 1 GB cache for write acceleration and data protection during power loss. All eight front-accessible 3.5-inch bays connect to this controller, so the RAID level and drive selection determine usable capacity, redundancy and performance.
