The Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack-mount server equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2683 v4 processors, each running at 2.1 GHz with 16 cores. It ships with 64 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory installed across four slots. The platform targets small-office and remote-office workloads such as file, print, mail and web serving where single-server capacity and redundancy matter.

Verify rack space and drive plan

Before ordering, confirm that your rack can accommodate a 5U chassis and that you have a strategy for populating the eight 3.5-inch SAS/SATA trays, as no drives are included. The motherboard provides twelve DDR4 slots with a 384 GB ceiling, so future memory expansion is possible.
