The Synology RS1619xs+ is a diskless 1U rackmount NAS built around an Intel Xeon D-1527 quad-core processor running at 2.2 GHz with turbo up to 2.7 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 ECC UDIMM memory, expandable to 64 GB across four slots. Dual built-in M.2 2280 slots enable SSD cache without occupying drive bays, while the PCIe 3.0 slot allows an optional 10GbE or 25GbE NIC for bandwidth-intensive environments.
