The DarkSide DS-0624 is a 7.75-inch rigid LED strip that emits blue light for PC case illumination. It uses Japanese-made IC modules in a Connect G2 design that lowers the LED height by 33 percent to 2 mm. The strip is built for enthusiasts who want a slim, modular lighting element in a custom loop or air-cooled build.

Upgrade from previous IC module

The G2 module cuts LED height by 33 percent compared to the earlier version while widening the beam by 33 percent and increasing the light-emitting surface 2.4 times. Power draw is lower than before. The jump is worth it when a thinner profile, broader spread and brighter output matter more than staying with the taller, narrower first-generation strips.

Modular Connect system integration

The strip uses DarkSide Connect micro-connectors so you choose the exact power cables your layout needs. Cables are sold separately, letting you swap connector types without replacing the strip. The rigid form factor means the strip must be mounted flat; do not bend or short it to avoid permanent damage.
