A-Tech
An 8 GB DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC module with CL19 latency for servers and workstations
Capacity 8GB
This 8 GB DDR4 2666 registered DIMM adds ECC-protected capacity to compatible servers and workstations. The 288-pin module operates at 1.20 V with CL19 latency and a single-rank 1Rx4 layout. It is built for systems that require registered memory and will not function in standard desktop or laptop platforms.
Swapping out lower-speed DDR4 RDIMMs or filling empty slots raises throughput to PC4-21300 levels. The jump is worthwhile when workloads are memory-bound and the platform supports 2666 MT/s registered operation. Systems limited to slower DDR4 speeds or unbuffered memory cannot use this module.
The 8 GB module handles virtualization hosts, database buffers and multi-user workloads that benefit from ECC integrity. Headroom ends when aggregate demand exceeds the installed DIMM count or when the platform caps memory below the required total. Additional modules are needed for larger datasets.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
This module uses the standard 288-pin DDR4 DIMM form factor and requires a server or workstation motherboard with registered ECC DDR4 slots. It is not compatible with desktop or laptop systems.
The module must be seated firmly until the retention clips click on both ends, and the system BIOS must support registered ECC memory; otherwise the server will not POST or will report a memory error.
No firmware updates are required for the memory itself. The module is tested for lifetime reliability; replacement is only needed if a hardware fault occurs or if you expand capacity beyond the current 8 GB.
