Alphacool
A 16 mm addressable RGB ring that slides over rigid tubing with a 20 mm length and 75 cm daisy-chain cable
The Alphacool Aurora HardTube LED Ring adds addressable RGB illumination to rigid tubing with a 16 mm inner diameter. It is designed for custom-loop builders who want per-LED lighting effects along straight tube runs. The chrome finish blends with metallic fittings while the integrated LEDs cover the tube exterior.
This ring replaces plain hard tubes or basic coloured tubing when visual coordination matters. The jump is worth it if the builder already uses a digital RGB controller and wants synchronised effects across blocks, fans and tubing without adding separate LED strips. It is not for loops that rely solely on analogue RGB headers or have no RGB header at all.
Each 20 mm segment lights a short tube section; multiple rings can be daisy-chained via the built-in Y-adapter to cover longer runs. The 75 cm lead reaches most motherboard headers in mid-tower chassis. Headroom ends when the tube count exceeds the controller’s LED limit or when tube bends prevent the ring from sliding over the 25 mm outer diameter.

The ring slides over rigid tubing or hose with a 16 mm outer diameter, held by two internal O-rings that grip without scratching the surface.
Plug the 3-pin addressable RGB connector into a digital RGB controller; the integrated Y-adapter on each cable lets you link the next ring directly without extra splitters.
Inspect the two O-rings whenever you drain the loop or re-route tubing; replace them if they show flattening, cracking or loss of grip to keep the ring secure.
