ALTRONIX
Off-line switching power supply/charger delivering 12 V DC at 10 A with fire-alarm disconnect, auxiliary output, AC and battery monitoring and over-voltage protection
The ALTRONIX EFLOW102NB is a 115 V AC off-line switching supply that delivers a 12 V DC Class 2 rated main output at up to 10 A. It also provides a separate 1 A auxiliary output and integrates fire alarm disconnect, AC and battery monitoring, low-power shutdown and over-voltage protection in a UL recognised and cUL listed chassis.
This unit replaces supplies that lack dual outputs, fire alarm disconnect or full monitoring features. The step up is justified when an installation needs both a 10 A primary rail and a dedicated 1 A auxiliary rail together with supervised battery backup and fault reporting in a single listed enclosure.
The 12 V 10 A primary output comfortably runs access control panels, multiple locks and peripheral devices while the independent 1 A aux output powers ancillary circuits without loading the main rail. Headroom ends when combined demand approaches the Class 2 power-limited threshold or when the monitored battery cannot sustain the required backup duration.

The unit is a proprietary power supply designed for a standard 115 V AC mains feed. It provides a main 12 V DC output rated at 10 amp max and a separate 1 amp auxiliary output, both Class 2 power limited.
Connect the fire alarm disconnect terminals so an alarm signal cuts the DC outputs. The step often missed is verifying the low power shutdown triggers correctly after wiring the disconnect.
The charger monitors battery health and signals a fault when voltage drops under load. Replace the battery when the monitor reports a fault or after a deep discharge event.
