The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9965WX targets professional workstations for artists, architects and engineers. It delivers 24 cores and 48 threads on the sTR5 platform with a 350 W thermal design. No integrated graphics are included, so a discrete GPU is required for display output. The TSMC 4 nm Shimada Peak die supports 64-bit instruction sets and enterprise-class security features.

128 MB L3 cache and eight-channel DDR5-6400

The processor provides 128 MB of L3 cache plus 24 MB of L2 cache to feed data-hungry multi-threaded workloads. Eight memory channels support DDR5-6400 with ECC for large-capacity, error-corrected memory subsystems. Base frequency runs at 4.2 GHz with a maximum boost up to 5.4 GHz for lightly threaded bursts. The 350 W rating defines the cooling envelope; sustained all-core loads will operate within that limit.
