ASUS
An mATX board for 9th and 8th Gen Intel CPUs with DDR4 2666 memory, one M.2 slot and HDMI 1.4b output
The ASUS PRIME B365M-A is a micro-ATX board built around the Intel B365 chipset. It accepts LGA 1151 processors from the 8th and 9th Generation Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron families. The socket is not backward compatible with earlier LGA 1151 CPUs. Four 288-pin DDR4 slots support dual-channel memory up to 64 GB at 2666 MHz.
The board provides a full set of display outputs including HDMI 1.4b, DVI-D and D-Sub for integrated graphics. Six SATA 6 Gb/s ports and one M.2 Socket 3 with M key accept 2242, 2260 and 2280 drives in both SATA and PCIe 3.0 x4 modes. An Aura Sync RGB header allows lighting control, while the Realtek ALC887 codec delivers 8-channel audio when paired with a compatible front panel.
PCIe 3.0 x16 is limited to a single full-length slot running at x16, with two additional x1 slots for add-in cards. Memory speeds above 2666 MHz will run at 2666 MHz on 8th Generation 6-core or higher processors. Intel Optane Ready support is included, and SATA RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 are available. The Realtek RTL8111H LAN controller provides standard wired networking.

The board provides one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot wired at x16 mode, so a graphics card is limited to PCIe 3.0 bandwidth.
The micro-ATX form factor fits any case with mATX or ATX mounting holes and a standard I/O shield cutout.
The M.2 Socket 3 M-key slot accepts 2242, 2260 and 2280 drives; the tiny retention screw that threads into the motherboard standoff is the step most often missed.
