The Dell EBT2250 Tower Plus is a new desktop computer built around an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor with 20 cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 5.3 GHz. It includes 32GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory, a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 solid-state drive and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and a wired keyboard and mouse are supplied in the box.

Upgrade path — from integrated graphics

This system replaces a desktop that relies on integrated graphics or an older mid-range GPU when the workload needs dedicated RTX 4060 Ti performance and 8GB of GDDR6 video memory. The jump is worth it when applications can use the Intel AI Boost NPU and the 20-core CPU for AI-assisted tasks, or when the 32GB DDR5 capacity removes memory pressure that slower or smaller kits create. Buyers who need more than 512GB of fast storage or who require multiple high-wattage add-in cards should look elsewhere.

Build integration — ports.

The tower provides three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs and one HDMI 2.1a port on the graphics card for multi-monitor setups. Front I/O includes three USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2 port, a headset jack and an SD card slot. Rear I/O adds four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, two more USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 ports, gigabit Ethernet, two stereo audio jacks and an S/PDIF optical output. Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200 delivers 802.11ax wireless LAN and Bluetooth connectivity without an extra adapter.
