The Dell EMC PowerEdge R740 is a 2U rack server built for virtualisation, database and enterprise workloads. It ships with one Intel Gold 6132 processor at 2.6 GHz with 14 cores and 19.25 MB cache. Memory is 64 GB DDR4 arranged as four 16 GB modules at 2666 MT/s. Storage uses two 960 GB SAS SSDs managed by an H730P RAID controller. Remote management is handled by iDRAC9 Enterprise.
