Two Intel Xeon Silver 4114 processors deliver twenty cores at 2.2 GHz with a 3.0 GHz turbo frequency. Upgrades from older single-socket

This configuration replaces single-socket servers or earlier dual-socket platforms that lack the core count, memory bandwidth or fast SATA SSD storage needed for modern virtualisation clusters. The PERC H730P controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode, enabling a wide range of redundancy and capacity layouts without additional hardware.

Confirm the rack cabinet accommodates a 1U chassis and that dual 550 W platinum power supplies match the available PDU connectors and circuit capacity. The integrated dual-port Gigabit Ethernet adapter provides baseline connectivity; additional PCIe network or storage cards require open slots and compatible risers. iDRAC 9 Express enables remote monitoring and administration; ensure the management network segment is configured for out-of-band access. Front bezel and ready rails are not included and must be sourced separately if required.
