The chassis is limited to two processors and 24 DIMM slots, so buyers who need more than 3 TB of memory or more than two sockets should evaluate larger form factors. The platform supports up to 3 TB of DDR4 memory across 24 slots, which is the single specification that determines whether the server can hold your working set. With 256 GB installed today, there is headroom for growth, but the 3 TB limit is fixed by the Intel C620 chipset and cannot be exceeded.
