The installed 32 GB of DDR4 suits modest virtualisation or database workloads, while the two 2 TB 7.2K SAS drives offer baseline capacity for operating systems and light data sets. The H740P RAID controller brings hardware RAID with cache protection to the eight-bay chassis, simplifying drive replacement and rebuilds. iDRAC9 Enterprise enables full out-of-band control, firmware updates and virtual console access without needing a local keyboard or monitor. Redundant 1100 W power supplies and up to eight PCIe Gen 3 slots support high-availability configurations and additional networking or acceleration cards.
