This 2U rack server ships with two Intel Gold 6132 processors, each running at 2.6 GHz with 14 cores and 19.25 MB cache. It includes 64 GB of DDR4 memory configured as four 16 GB modules at PC4-2666 speed. The chassis provides eight 2.5-inch drive bays and up to eight PCIe Gen 3 expansion slots. It is suited for virtualization hosts, database nodes or compute clusters that need strong multi-threaded performance in a compact form factor.

SAS 10K drive interface and PCIe Gen 3 slot ceiling

The two factory-installed 300 GB drives use a 10K SAS interface managed by the H730P RAID controller, which limits throughput to the SAS bus and the controller’s own queue depth. Expansion cards are restricted to PCIe Gen 3 electrical lanes across the available slots, so newer Gen 4 or Gen 5 accelerators will operate at reduced bandwidth. Network connectivity is fixed to the onboard Intel X550 dual 10 Gb RJ45 and dual 1 Gb RJ45 ports.

Sixteen drive-bay and slot limit defines capacity

The chassis supports a maximum of eight 2.5-inch drives and eight PCIe Gen 3 slots, so total raw storage and add-in card count cannot exceed those physical limits. Buyers who need more internal drives or additional accelerator cards must look to a larger chassis or external enclosures. Redundant 1100 W power supplies and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management are included for continuous operation.
