The Dell PowerEdge R750 is a 2U rack server built for enterprise workloads that demand high core counts and large memory capacity. It ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 5317 processors, each running at 3.0 GHz with twelve cores. The system includes 256 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across eight 32 GB modules. This configuration targets virtualisation hosts, database clusters and compute-intensive applications.

Storage and networking foundation

Twenty-four 2.5-inch SATA solid-state drives of 960 GB each provide high-density internal storage managed by a Dell PERC H755 RAID controller with 8 GB NV cache and battery backup. The controller supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 for flexible data protection. A Broadcom 5720 quad-port 1 GbE OCP 3.0 network adapter handles connectivity. Dual 1400 watt platinum power supplies deliver redundant hot-swap power. iDRAC 9 Enterprise enables remote management. Rails and a front bezel are included for rack installation.

The dual 12-core Xeon processors maintain a 3.0 GHz base frequency with turbo up to 3.6 GHz under prolonged workloads.
