Dual Xeon E5-2650 v4 5U Server

This new Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack server fitted with two Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4 processors running at 2.2 GHz with a 2.9 GHz turbo. Each CPU provides twelve cores for a total of twenty-four cores. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across four modules and includes a Dell PERC HBA330 storage controller. The platform targets virtualization, database hosting, file services and backup workloads in business environments.

Redundant 750 W PSUs and 16 Hot-Swap Bays

Dual 750 watt platinum hot-swap power supplies provide redundancy for continuous operation. The chassis offers sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays with four drive trays supplied. A Dell PERC HBA330 12 Gb/s SAS/SATA controller manages the storage array. Integrated dual-port gigabit Ethernet handles network connectivity while iDRAC 8 Express enables remote management. Front bezel and ready rails are not included.

Four Memory Modules and HBA330 Controller

The 32 GB DDR4-2400 ECC memory kit occupies four of twelve slots, leaving room to expand toward the 384 GB maximum. The HBA330 controller presents a non-RAID interface for direct drive access or software-defined storage configurations. No drives are installed, so the buyer selects SAS, SATA or SSD media to match capacity and performance needs. The open PCIe slots allow additional RAID, networking or accelerator cards.
