Dual Xeon Silver 4110 5U Server

This 5U tower server ships with two Intel Xeon Silver 4110 processors, each running at 2.1 GHz with a 3.0 GHz turbo frequency. The LGA 3647 platform delivers sixteen cores in total and supports up to 1 TB of DDR4 ECC memory across sixteen slots. It is built for organisations running virtualisation, database workloads, or software-defined storage that need dense internal capacity in a single chassis.

HBA330 Storage Controller Upgrade

The included Dell PERC HBA330 12 Gb/s SAS/SATA controller replaces a basic onboard SATA interface, enabling up to sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays for mixed SSD and hard-disk arrays. The jump is worth it when workloads demand direct-attached storage redundancy or when migrating from a server limited to eight bays or a non-RAID HBA. Without the controller, the backplane cannot address the full bay count.

Redundant Power and Remote Management

Dual 750 W platinum-efficiency power supplies provide hot-swap redundancy so a single supply failure does not halt operations. The iDRAC 9 Express module gives out-of-band remote access for firmware updates, power cycling, and hardware monitoring without an operating system. The system requires a standard rack or floor space with adequate airflow; front bezel and ready rails are not included and must be sourced separately for rack mounting.
