The Dell Precision 3650 is a new desktop workstation built for CAD, engineering, design and data-heavy applications. It ships with an Intel Core i5-10500 six-core processor running at 3.10 GHz and 32GB of DDR4 memory. Graphics interface and memory limits

The Quadro P2200 provides four DisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor configurations at high resolutions. Its 5GB GDDR5X frame buffer sets a hard ceiling on texture-heavy 3D scenes and large assemblies. System memory can be expanded to 128GB across four DDR4 slots, allowing larger datasets when the graphics memory becomes a bottleneck. The LGA 1200 platform supports a single processor only, so CPU upgrades stay within the same socket generation.

Tower expandability and daily operation

A 1000W power supply delivers headroom for professional graphics cards and future storage additions without requiring a PSU swap. The chassis uses fixed fans rather than hot-swap units, so internal cleaning requires standard tower access. Front-panel LEDs indicate power, Ethernet and USB activity for quick status checks at a glance.
