Precision 7920 dual-Xeon workstation

The Dell Precision 7920 tower arrives with two Intel Xeon Gold 5122 processors running at 3.6 GHz, providing eight physical cores and sixteen threads through hyperthreading. A massive 1024 GB of DDR4-2666 ECC memory is installed across twenty-four DIMM slots, supported by the dual-CPU six-channel architecture. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a 1 TB NVMe M.2 SSD mounted on a PCIe adapter card.

Tower build with 1400 W supply and PCIe GPU

The 1400 W power supply feeds both CPUs, the memory array and the AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100 graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR5 memory. Fourteen hundred watts leaves headroom for additional PCIe expansion cards or storage devices that the tower chassis can accommodate. A DVD±RW optical drive is fitted as standard. No monitor is included, so a display must be supplied separately.

Thermals noise and power in normal use
