Panoramic ATX Mid Tower

The DIYPC IDX5-BK-ARGB is a black steel chassis with dual frameless tempered glass panels that give a 270° view of the interior. It accepts ATX, Micro ATX and ITX motherboards and includes an integrated ARGB lighting bar. Four ARGB PWM fans are pre-installed for immediate airflow.

Pre-installed ARGB PWM fans and hub

Three 120 mm reverse-blade fans mount on the motherboard side and one 120 mm fan sits at the rear, all running on PWM control. An included ARGB hub lets you synchronise lighting through a 5 V 3-pin motherboard header or the top-panel button. Optional mounts support three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans on top and two 120 mm fans in the PSU shroud.

Component clearance limits

The case fits graphics cards up to 440 mm long and CPU coolers up to 180 mm tall. A top-mounted radiator can be 360 mm, while the power-supply bay accepts units up to 220 mm deep. Only one 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drive bays are provided internally.

Questions about this item

How do I clean or replace the pre-installed 120mm ARGB PWM fans on the motherboard side and rear?

The four pre-installed 120mm fans are mounted with standard screws; remove the side tempered glass panel to reach the three motherboard-side fans and the rear fan directly for dusting or swap-out.

What thermal limit appears first when the top 360mm radiator and all fan mounts are fully populated under sustained load?

The top panel accepts a 360mm radiator plus three 120mm or two 140mm fans, while the PSU box can take two more 120mm fans; total airflow capacity is the practical ceiling before coolant temperature plateaus.

How much noise and heat should I expect from the four pre-installed 120mm ARGB PWM fans running all day at typical PWM speeds?

Four 120mm PWM fans at typical curves produce a low hum; the steel and tempered glass panels contain most sound, and the bottom-mounted PSU layout helps exhaust heat without recirculation.
