The 1.75 mm format fits the vast majority of direct-drive and Bowden extruders without hardware changes. Low contraction minimises warping on large flat surfaces, freeing you from enclosure requirements for many geometries. A light gluestick coating on the bed provides reliable first-layer adhesion across glass, PEI or coated build plates. Compatibility with Scaffold support material enables clean breakaway on complex overhangs and internal cavities.
