Fractal Design
A white mid-tower case with tempered glass, E-ATX support and five pre-installed PWM fans including two 180 mm front units for high airflow
Options White / Clear Tint Tempered Glass / Non RGB
The Fractal Design Torrent White is a steel and tempered glass mid tower that accepts E-ATX, ATX, mATX, ITX, SSI-EEB and SSI-CEB motherboards. Five PWM fans are pre-installed, including two 180 mm Dynamic GP-18 units at the front and three 140 mm Dynamic GP-14 units at the bottom. An open front grille feeds those 180 mm fans for maximum intake volume.
Builders planning custom loops or thick AIOs up to 420 mm in push-pull at the front or bottom will use the extra clearance. The 180 x 38 mm front fans move large air volumes at low RPM, so silence-focused systems benefit. Compact ITX or low-profile air-cooling builds that do not need the front 180 mm mounts or 420 mm radiator support should consider a smaller chassis.
Under prolonged stress the front 180 mm fans and bottom 140 mm fans maintain a steady pressure gradient across the GPU and CPU zones without ramping to peak speed. Radiators up to 420 mm in push-pull dissipate heat continuously because the case feeds cool air directly to the core components. Dust filters on the bottom and front preserve that airflow path over weeks of operation.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
The case supports E-ATX, ATX, mATX, ITX, SSI-EEB and SSI-CEB motherboards, so any current consumer or workstation board up to E-ATX width will fit.
Yes, both the front and bottom locations accept radiators up to 420 mm, so a 360 mm unit fits with room to spare in either position.
Connect each fan to a motherboard PWM header, then check fan speeds in BIOS or monitoring software; all five should report RPM values that change with temperature.
