GIGABYTE
ATX AM5 board for Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 CPUs with DDR5 up to 8200, PCIe 5.0 x16, three M.2 slots, 2.5GbE LAN and WIFI7
Option
Struck-through versions exist but are not stocked here.
This ATX motherboard accepts Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors in the AM5 LGA 1718 socket. Four 288-pin slots support up to 256 GB of dual-channel DDR5 at speeds from 4400 to 8200 MT/s using AMD EXPO or Intel XMP 3.0 profiles.
An 8+2+2 phase power design delivers stable current to the CPU while running typical workloads quietly. The board draws only the power required by the installed components and produces no audible fan noise of its own.
The platform adds PCIe 5.0 x16 for graphics, a CPU-linked M.2 slot at PCIe 5.0 x4, two further M.2 sockets, 2.5 GbE LAN and WIFI7 connectivity. Builders moving from an older AM4 system gain the higher memory bandwidth and faster storage lanes; the jump is worthwhile when a new Ryzen processor and DDR5 kit are also planned.

The board supports DDR5 speeds from 4400 up to 8200 and runs in dual-channel mode across four slots, so any non-ECC unbuffered DDR5 DIMM within that range will be compatible.
With a Ryzen 9000 processor the primary M.2 slot runs at PCIe 5.0 x4 while the other two operate at PCIe 4.0 x4, giving you full-speed access to all three drives simultaneously.
The integrated 2.5GbE LAN port will negotiate down to 1 GbE automatically, so no extra hardware is required; you simply connect the board to your existing router with a standard Ethernet cable.
