HP
1U rack server with single Xeon E5-2630 v3 2.4 GHz eight-core CPU, 64 GB DDR4 ECC, two 146 GB 15K SAS drives and Smart HBA H240 RAID controller
Struck-through versions exist but are not stocked here.
The HP ProLiant DL160 Gen9 is a single-socket Intel Xeon E5-2630 v3 system with eight cores at 2.4 GHz and 64 GB of DDR4 memory. It ships with two 146 GB 15K SAS drives and a Smart HBA H240 controller supporting RAID 0, 1 and 5. The 1U chassis fits standard racks and includes redundant hot-swap 550 W power supplies.
The server occupies one rack unit and provides eight small-form-factor drive bays, so additional 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drives can be added without expanding the footprint. Sixteen DDR4 DIMM slots are available, eight per processor, allowing memory to scale up to the platform maximum when a second CPU is installed. The H240 controller handles 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA connectivity for the installed and future drives.
The unit arrives without an OS, giving the administrator full choice of hypervisor or bare-metal deployment. The Matrox G200 graphics provide basic console output for installation and management. Drive trays are supplied with the two installed drives; extra trays come with any additional drives purchased separately.
