Eight gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory are installed across the 24 available DIMM slots, leaving room for substantial expansion. Dual 600GB 15K SAS drives connect through the P440 controller with 4GB flash-backed write cache. Redundant hot-swap 500W power supplies maintain uptime.

Fits standard 2U rails and 16-bay SFF chassis

Sixteen 2.5-inch drive bays accept SAS media, with an optional third bay for additional eight-bay cages or a universal media bay. The Smart Array P440 supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across twelve and six gigabit links. A second processor socket is empty, allowing a drop-in upgrade to thirty-six total cores. Matrox G200eH2 graphics provide basic console output without consuming a PCIe slot.
