HP
2U rack server with dual Xeon E5-2630 v3 processors, 16 GB DDR4, two 146 GB SAS drives and a P440 controller with 4 GB FBWC
This 2U rack server ships with two Xeon E5-2630 v3 eight-core processors running at 2.4 GHz and 16 GB of DDR4 ECC memory. It includes a Smart Array P440 controller with 4 GB flash-backed write cache and two 146 GB 15K SAS drives. The chassis provides 16 SFF drive bays and dual 500 W redundant power supplies for continuous operation.
Confirm your rack has 2U of clearance and can supply dual 500 W circuits. The system uses DDR4 ECC Registered DIMMs across 24 slots, twelve per processor, with installed memory at 16 GB. Existing drives must use the SAS interface to match the P440 controller and backplane.
The sixteen 2.5-inch bays allow high drive counts for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 or 60 arrays without occupying extra rack units. Dual processors deliver 32 threads for multi-threaded applications while redundant power supplies free you from single-point power failure. No operating system is included so you can install your preferred hypervisor or OS.
