The HPE DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rack server built for dense compute workloads. It arrives with a single Intel Xeon E5-2640 v3 processor running at 2.6GHz and 384GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. The eight-bay 2.5-inch chassis supports SAS and SATA drives through an HPE Smart Array P440 controller. Integrated iLO Advanced remote management simplifies administration across data centres.

The 8SFF chassis provides eight hot-plug bays connected to the P440 SAS controller for RAID flexibility. No drives are installed so you can choose capacity and speed that match the application. The controller supports both SAS and SATA interfaces for mixed media configurations. A second processor socket is available if workloads outgrow the single CPU.

384GB DDR4 installed with 768GB ceiling

The system ships with 384GB of DDR4 memory installed across the available DIMM slots. Maximum supported capacity reaches 768GB when both processor sockets are populated. This headroom covers large virtualisation clusters and in-memory databases comfortably. Memory beyond 768GB is not supported by this platform.
