Small-business tower server

The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Plus is a tower server built for small businesses and remote offices. It ships with a Xeon E-2314 4-Core 2.8GHz processor that can turbo up to 4.5GHz. The system includes 128GB of DDR4 3200MHz unbuffered memory across four 32GB modules. Windows Server 2022 Essentials media is provided for environments with up to 25 users and 50 devices.

Build integration requirements

The server arrives with the 32TB of SATA III hard drives and the 128GB of memory packaged separately, so installation is required before deployment. Four PCIe expansion slots and an M.2 slot are available for additional controllers or networking cards. Remote management is handled through the integrated iLO 5 Standard interface. A single cabled power supply and a DVD-ROM drive complete the base configuration.

Sustained-load behaviour

The Xeon E-2314 maintains a 2.8GHz base frequency across its four cores during extended workloads. Smart Array VROC manages the four 8TB SATA drives in a RAID configuration for continuous data protection. The embedded Broadcom BCM5720 dual-port 1Gb Ethernet adapter provides steady network throughput. Physical security features including a padlock eye, bezel lock and Kensington slot protect the hardware during long-term operation.
