Kingston Technology Corp.
A 2.5 inch SATA solid-state drive with 120GB capacity, up to 450 MB/s sequential speeds and a notebook installation kit
Options 120GB
The Kingston SSDNow V300 delivers a 120GB capacity over a SATA III interface for consumer laptops and desktops. It uses an LSI SandForce controller customized for Kingston and has no moving parts. Sequential reads and writes reach up to 450 MB/s. Random 4KB performance reaches up to 85,000 IOPS read and 55,000 IOPS write.
The bundle kit includes all components required for notebook installation. The 2.5 inch form factor with a 7.00mm height fits standard drive bays. A SATA III connection is the only interface needed. No additional drivers are required for the operating system to recognise the drive.
Under continuous operation the drive draws 1.423 W during reads and 2.052 W during writes, while idle power is 0.640W. It is rated for an operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C. Vibration resistance is specified at 2.17G peak across 7-800Hz while operating. MTBF is rated at 1,000,000 hours.
