The Leviton DT130-1LW replaces a standard wall switch with a countdown timer designed for bathroom exhaust fans, heat lamps and towel warmers. Four preset buttons activate the load for 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes and the switch turns it off automatically when the time expires. A green LED indicates the active timer. It is rated for 120 volts and 15 amps resistive load.

Wiring Flexibility For Retrofit Boxes

The switch fits a standard wallbox with a shallow 1.3 inch depth and requires a ground wire for installation. Its green flex sleeve connects to ground when no neutral is present, or the sleeve can be removed to connect to a neutral wire if one exists in the box. Two interchangeable black wires simplify line and load connections to help prevent miswiring during a DIY install.
