Socket AM4 platform for RYZEN builds

The MSI A320M WATER motherboard pairs an AMD A320 chipset with a Socket AM4 design to support RYZEN series processors and 7th generation A-series or Athlon CPUs. Dual-channel DDR4 memory runs at 1866, 2133, 2400 or 2667 MHz up to a maximum of 32 GB. A single PCIe 3.0 x16 slot operates at x16 speed with RYZEN chips and at x8 speed with 7th generation A-series or Athlon parts, while two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots add further expansion room.

Passive cooling keeps operation silent

Because the board uses a fanless heatsink design, there are no spinning fans to create audible noise during normal workloads. Power draw stays modest thanks to the A320 chipset and the absence of active cooling components, so the motherboard runs quietly inside compact Micro ATX cases without requiring high airflow.

Back-panel I/O shield

The package supplies a chassis I/O back panel and one SATA cable, so the installer can connect up to four SATA III drives and mount the board without hunting for separate brackets. A CMOS battery is also included to maintain firmware settings, while six USB 3.1 Gen1 ports and six USB 2.0 ports are available through rear and onboard headers. Realtek ALC887 audio delivers 7.1 channel output and a Realtek 8111H controller provides gigabit networking.
