This NEMIX RAM kit provides 16GB across two 8GB DDR4 2933MHz modules built to the PC4-23400 standard. Each stick is a 1Rx8 registered DIMM with ECC and operates at 1.2V. The kit targets servers that require registered error-correcting memory and is not intended for standard desktop computers.

Steady throughput under registered ECC operation

Registered buffering places a register between the DRAM and the memory controller, adding one cycle of latency but reducing electrical load on the bus. This allows the memory subsystem to sustain the rated 2933MHz transfer rate across both modules during prolonged workloads without the signal degradation that can appear on unbuffered configurations. ECC correction runs continuously in the background, so sustained write and read streams maintain data integrity without pausing for software checks.

DDR4 288-pin interface at PC4-23400

The 288-pin DDR4 form factor delivers the PC4-23400 data rate at 1.2V with CAS latency 21. Bandwidth is limited to the DDR4 2933 specification; systems that only support lower DDR4 speeds will downclock the modules accordingly. The registered design requires a memory controller that supports registered DIMMs, so platforms limited to unbuffered memory cannot use this kit.
