A Wi-Fi 6 router delivering AX1600 speeds with a dual-core 880MHz processor, 256MB flash, 512MB RAM and four Gigabit LAN ports
Speed Up to 1.6 Gbps
The Netgear RAX5-100PAS is a dual-band wireless router built on the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It delivers a maximum theoretical throughput of 1.6Gbps across four spatial streams. The router is intended for households up to 1,500 sq. ft. with up to 20 connected devices.
Installation is guided through a web browser or the Nighthawk app using a phone or computer with Chrome or Safari. The unit provides five Gigabit Ethernet ports — one WAN and four LAN — for wired connections. A common issue is forgetting to connect the WAN port to a modem that has an RJ45 connector.
You need an active broadband internet service such as DSL, cable or fibre. The modem must present an RJ45 Ethernet port for the router WAN link. Client devices should support Wi-Fi 5 or earlier for backward compatibility, while Wi-Fi 6 clients will use the full feature set.

Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
Connect a Wi-Fi 6 device to the 5GHz band, run a speed test, and verify throughput approaches 1200Mbps on that band and 459Mbps on 2.4GHz; the NETGEAR Armor dashboard also shows active device links and throughput.
The box includes the RAX5 router, an Ethernet cable, a power adapter, and a quick start guide; you must provide a broadband modem with an RJ45 port and an internet subscription.
