Modules operate at 1.2V without heat spreaders, relying on system airflow for cooling. The JEDEC-standard voltage keeps power draw predictable in densely populated memory channels typical of multi-socket servers.
The kit replaces or adds to existing DDR4 2133MHz, 2400MHz, 2666MHz or 2933MHz LRDIMM populations and will downclock to match the slowest installed speed. It is not compatible with unbuffered memory or consumer desktop boards that lack LRDIMM support.
