The module uses the ECC load-reduced standard and will not work in standard desktop computers or in systems that accept only unbuffered or registered ECC DIMMs. Mixing this LRDIMM with other ECC types is not supported. Backward compatibility covers 2133MHz, 2400MHz, 2666MHz and 2933MHz bus speeds, so the module can slot into older DDR4 server platforms that run at those lower frequencies.
