16 GB DDR4 2933 ECC registered RDIMM for Supermicro X11 server motherboards
This 16 GB DDR4 2933 ECC registered DIMM is built for Supermicro motherboards X11SPA-TF, X11SPD-F, X11SPG-TF, X11SPH-nCTF and X11SPH-nCTPF. It targets administrators upgrading or repairing workstations, servers or NAS systems that require registered memory with error correction. Standard desktop boards cannot use this module.
The module is a 2Rx8 288-pin DDR4 RDIMM with on-die ECC and a register buffer. It will not work in systems that accept only unbuffered non-ECC UDIMMs, and it cannot be mixed with unbuffered memory in the same platform. Buyers must verify their board explicitly supports registered ECC DDR4 before ordering.
Each stick delivers 16 GB at PC4-23400 CL21 1.2 V and is rated for 2933 MT/s. The specification also lists backward compatibility at 2133, 2400 and 2666 MT/s, so the module will clock down automatically in slower channels. Total capacity scales with the number of populated slots up to the motherboard limit.

Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
The module runs at 2933 MT/s with CL21 timing at 1.2 V, providing the standard JEDEC bandwidth for that speed grade.
Registered ECC DIMMs place a register on each command line, allowing larger capacities per channel than unbuffered modules while adding one clock cycle of latency.
It fits a standard 288-pin DDR4 DIMM socket and has no heat spreader, so it clears low-profile CPU coolers and dense server chassis.
