A 32 GB DDR5 ECC registered RDIMM running at 4800 MHz CL40 for Dell PowerEdge R760xd2 servers
This 32 GB DDR5 ECC registered DIMM is built for Dell PowerEdge R760xd2 servers and compatible workstations. It delivers error-correcting, registered memory for workloads that demand data integrity and uptime. The module is not compatible with standard desktop computers or unbuffered memory configurations.
A single 2Rx8 module runs at PC5-38400 with CL40 latency and 1.1 V, providing substantial headroom for virtualization, databases and large datasets. Performance scales with additional modules, but mixing with load-reduced or unbuffered DIMMs is not supported and will prevent operation.
The module fits standard DDR5 RDIMM slots in the R760xd2 and replaces Dell part AC239378. No heat spreader is included, so airflow across the DIMM bays must be maintained by the server chassis. Installation requires no extra cables or adapters beyond the memory slots themselves.

Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
Yes — the module is built to JEDEC DDR5 4800 CL40 1.1 V registered ECC spec, so it will operate with identical DDR5 4800 registered ECC DIMMs already installed in the PowerEdge R760xd2.
Check the system BIOS or iDRAC memory inventory; it should show a single 32 GB DDR5 4800 MT/s registered ECC DIMM running at 1.1 V with CL40 timings.
The upgrade consists of the single 32 GB 288-pin DDR5 4800 CL40 2Rx8 registered ECC RDIMM; no brackets, cables or additional hardware are supplied.
