64 GB DDR3L 1600 ECC registered RDIMM kit for HP ProLiant Gen8 servers
Capacity 64GB (4 x 16GB)
This 64 GB kit contains four 16 GB DDR3L 1600 ECC Registered RDIMMs built for HP ProLiant ML350e Gen8, ML350e Gen8 v2, ML350p Gen8, SL210t Gen8 and SL230s Gen8 servers. The modules run at 1.35 V with CL11 latency and a 2Rx4 organisation. They are not compatible with standard desktop computers and cannot be mixed with unbuffered memory. ||
DDR3L 1.35 V modules draw less power than standard DDR3, reducing heat output inside dense server chassis. Registered buffering lightens the electrical load on the memory controller, helping stability during sustained workloads. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow across the DIMM slots handles cooling. ||
Each module uses a 240-pin RDIMM form factor that fits the validated ProLiant slots directly. The kit replaces HP part numbers 684316181, 688963001, 713756081, 713985B21, 713985B211 and 715284001. Buyers who need unbuffered ECC or non-ECC memory for workstations cannot use this kit.

Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
Power down, open the chassis, align each module's notch with the slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click, then verify in BIOS that all 64 GB are recognised — the step most often missed is seating every clip fully on all four sticks.
No routine maintenance is required; the modules have no heat spreaders or moving parts, so replacement only occurs if a DIMM fails ECC correction or the server's memory configuration changes.
The DDR3L 1600 bus bandwidth and CL11 latency ceiling are reached before voltage or thermal limits, capping sustained throughput at the rated PC3L-12800 speed.
