A 64 GB DDR5 4800 ECC registered DIMM for Gigabyte G293-Z21, G293-Z22, G293-Z23, G293-Z40 and G293-Z41 servers
This single 64 GB DDR5 4800 PC5-38400 CL40 registered DIMM is built for Gigabyte G293-Z21, G293-Z22, G293-Z23, G293-Z40 and G293-Z41 platforms. It delivers 64 GB of error-correcting capacity in one 288-pin module for workstations, NAS, servers and network switches that require registered ECC memory.
Operating at 1.1 V, the module runs within JEDEC-standard limits for DDR5 registered DIMMs. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the sticks handles thermal load in typical server chassis. Power draw stays consistent with the 1.1 V specification during normal multi-threaded workloads.
The 64 GB density replaces smaller registered DDR5 DIMMs to maximise memory slots on the G293 series. The jump is worth it when workloads need more simultaneous VMs, larger in-memory databases or higher buffer pools without mixing ranks. It will not work in standard desktop boards or alongside unbuffered or load-reduced ECC modules.

Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
Align the notch on the module with the slot key, press firmly until both retention clips click, and ensure the system is fully powered off and unplugged — skipping the power-off step is the most common error.
No scheduled maintenance is required; if a module fails it is replaced as a unit, and the limited lifetime warranty covers eligible replacements.
The memory controller’s maximum supported speed of 4800 MT/s and the fixed CL40 latency are the primary limits under continuous load.
