Compact single-tower design

The SAMA X40L is a single-tower air cooler that uses four 6 mm copper heat pipes in direct contact with the CPU. A 100 mm hydro-bearing fan spins between 1000 and 2600 RPM and connects via a 4-pin PWM header for automatic speed control. The matte top cover integrates ARGB lighting that synchronises with compatible motherboards. It supports Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1700 and 1851 sockets as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 platforms.

Builders who need low-profile clearance

The cooler stands 133.5 mm tall, so it fits many mid-tower cases. Memory modules up to 45 mm high install without interference from the heatsink. The 200 W TDP rating covers most mainstream processors. Builders using compact ITX cases with tighter height limits or running sustained workloads above 200 W should consider larger coolers.

If the processor's rated heat output exceeds 200 W the cooler may not maintain acceptable temperatures under load. For CPUs at or below 200 W the four heat pipes and 56.6 CFM airflow provide adequate cooling with a noise level of 31.2 dBA at full speed.
