CPU water block with 50 mm copper base and inner channel for improved heat transfer
This CPU water block fits Intel 775, 1155, 1156, 1366, LGA 1150 and LGA 2011 platforms as well as AMD 940, AM2, AM3 and Bulldozer sockets. It is built for custom liquid-cooling loops on older mainstream and enthusiast desktop systems.
A 5 mm high copper base with an inner water channel provides a large contact area to move heat away from the processor quickly. Two chrome-plated copper faucets with a 10 mm outer diameter accept standard G1/4 inch fittings for secure tubing connections.
The acrylic, red copper and steel block measures roughly 10.5 by 5.2 by 1.5 cm and includes four mounting screws in the accessory set. Builders must supply their own pump, radiator, reservoir, tubing and coolant to complete a functioning custom loop.
| Type | CPU Block |

Mount the 50 mm copper base on the CPU using the four screws provided; the step people miss is tightening them in a cross pattern so the 5 mm base height makes even contact across the whole surface.
Flush the loop and replace the coolant periodically to stop residue building up inside the inner channel; check the two 10 mm chrome-plated copper fittings and the acrylic top for cracks or leaks at the same time.
The 50 mm copper base with its 5 mm thickness and internal channel can only move so much heat before coolant temperature rises and thermal resistance stops improving.
