Timetec
Dual-channel 8 GB DDR3/DDR3L kit running at 1333 MHz CL9 for Dell OptiPlex 780 systems
Capacity 8GB (2 x 4GB)
This Timetec kit supplies 8GB of DDR3 memory as two 4GB modules built for Dell OptiPlex 780 desktops in DT, MT and SFF form factors. The low-density dual-rank design uses 256x8 ICs and runs at 1333MHz with CL9 latency. Dual-voltage operation at 1.35V or 1.5V matches the original platform requirements.
Buyers upgrading a compatible OptiPlex 780 DT, MT or SFF will gain extra multitasking headroom with this JEDEC-standard kit. It is not for laptops, servers, or any desktop that requires registered ECC modules, single-rank population rules, speeds above 1600MHz, or a different pin count.
The modules present a 240-pin DDR3 UDIMM interface and use low-density 2Rx8 organisation, which the OptiPlex 780 chipset expects for reliable boot and operation. Mismatched pin count, rank density or voltage would prevent the system from recognising the memory.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
The kit uses dual-rank 2Rx8 organisation; mixing ranks can work but the system will run all modules at the lowest common speed and voltage.
Check the BIOS memory information or a tool such as CPU-Z; it should report 1333 MHz frequency and 9-9-9-24 timings at 1.5 V or 1.35 V.
The box holds the two 240-pin DDR3 UDIMMs; no screws, brackets or printed manual are supplied.
