4G+ Cat6 AX3000 VPN router
The TP-Link ER706W-4G combines a 4G+ Cat6 modem with Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 dual-band wireless and six Gigabit Ethernet ports. It delivers up to 300 Mbps cellular downlink and 2976 Mbps total wireless throughput. The router supports IPSec, SSL, WireGuard, OpenVPN and L2TP VPN protocols for secure remote access. Centralised management is available through the Omada SDN platform and the Omada App.
Six Gigabit ports and SFP flexibility
One SFP WAN/LAN port, one dedicated Gigabit WAN port and four configurable Gigabit LAN/WAN ports provide wired connectivity for switches, access points or direct device links. The 4G+ modem uses a Nano SIM slot for primary or failover internet access. Three dual-band Wi-Fi antennas and two LTE antennas are detachable for positioning or external antenna upgrades. The unit measures 226 × 131 × 35 mm without antennas.
Omada Mesh and cloud management
Omada Mesh support allows compatible EAP access points to extend coverage wirelessly without extra cabling. The Omada App enables remote configuration, monitoring and firmware updates from a smartphone. Features such as seamless roaming, MU-MIMO, OFDMA, beamforming, airtime fairness and per-SSID rate limiting optimise dense wireless environments.
