WaveShare
A 3.5 inch resistive touch IPS LCD with 480x320 resolution and XPT2046 controller plugs directly into any Raspberry Pi revision for portable display and touch input
The WaveShare 3.5 inch resistive touch screen is an IPS LCD panel designed to plug directly into any revision of Raspberry Pi. It serves makers, educators and hobbyists who need a compact, integrated display for portable or embedded projects without external cabling.
Communication runs over the SPI LCD interface driven by the XPT2046 touch controller, so data throughput is limited by the serial bus rather than a parallel or high-speed link. The resistive layer requires physical pressure and does not support multi-touch gestures or high-refresh animation.
The 480 by 320 hardware resolution handles basic GUIs, camera previews and an on-screen keyboard for system interaction without a mouse. It runs out of space for detailed desktop work, multi-window layouts or high-definition media playback.

This 3.5 inch display fits directly onto the GPIO header of any Raspberry Pi revision from the original B+ through to the 4B, so it needs no extra cables or power supply.
The panel shows 480 by 320 pixels natively; with the supplied FBCP driver you can scale the desktop or run a second virtual screen at a different software resolution.
The SPI bus carries both display data and touch signals through the XPT2046 chip, giving responsive resistive touch that works with a stylus or gloved finger.
