WaveShare
An 8-megapixel IMX219 camera module with a 200° field of view for Jetson Nano and Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3/3+ projects
The WaveShare IMX219-200 is an 8 megapixel camera module built around the Sony IMX219 sensor. It captures still images at 3280 × 2464 resolution and provides a 200 degree diagonal field of view. The compact board measures 25 mm by 24 mm and includes four screw holes for secure mounting. It is designed for use with Jetson Nano Developer Kit and Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 or 3+.
The module ships with a fixed lens offering a 0.87 mm focal length and an f/2.0 aperture. The 1/4 inch CMOS format combined with the ultra-wide angle delivers a 200 degree view with distortion kept below 11 percent. A 3.3 V power output pin is provided on the board for peripheral use. No additional cables, adapters or software licenses are included in the package.
This camera suits developers building face recognition, road marking detection or licence plate recognition systems on supported Jetson Nano or Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3/3+ platforms. Buyers who need a narrower field of view, higher resolution sensors or compatibility with other single-board computers should look at alternative modules. The host development board is not included and must be sourced separately.

The module has no moving parts; the fixed-focus 0.87 mm lens and flex cable are rated for the life of the sensor, so no scheduled replacement is required.
Sustained 3280 × 2464 streaming is constrained by the CSI-2 bandwidth of the Jetson Nano or Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3/3+ host.
The sensor draws 3.3 V from the host and stays cool enough for passively cooled enclosures; no fan or heatsink is needed on the camera itself.
