Aluminium Heatsink and Slot Flexibility

An aluminium cover with grooved fins sits over the SSD to move heat away during sustained transfers, helping prevent thermal throttling. The board fits PCIe 5.0, 4.0, 3.0 and 2.0 slots at x16, x8 or x4 electrical widths, so it works in a wide range of desktop platforms. SATA-based M.2 drives are not supported, and the SSD must be initialised and formatted before the OS will recognise it.

Upgrade Path for PCIe 5.0 NVMe Storage

The adapter replaces the need for a native M.2 slot and lets you move an existing NVMe drive to a new system or add a second drive when all onboard slots are full.
