UASP support reduces protocol overhead by roughly 20 percent versus older USB 3.0 links. The port is backward compatible with USB 3.1, 3.0 and 2.0 hosts, but each step down cuts maximum bandwidth further.

Slide the 2230 SSD into the M-key or B+M-key slot, snap the magnetic cover shut and plug the USB-C cable — no screwdriver required.
