This full-cover water block is engineered exclusively for the GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition graphics card. It targets custom-loop builders who want direct-die liquid cooling for the GPU and VRM on this specific board design. The nickel and chromium plated copper base spans the entire card length. An acrylic top integrates a Digital RGB LED strip for illumination.

Thermal Contact and Flow Coverage

The machined copper base plate is contoured to maximise contact area over the GPU core and voltage-regulator modules. Coolant flows across the full length of the block, absorbing heat from both critical zones simultaneously. Builders who need VRAM cooling on the rear side of the PCB should verify coverage, as the block mounts to the primary face only. The acrylic top adds visual flair but does not extend thermal transfer to back-side components.

RGB Ecosystem Compatibility Limits

The integrated LED strip carries certifications for ASUS AURA Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion 2.0, MSI Mystic Light Sync, ASRock Polychrome, BIOSTAR VIVID LED DJ and Razer Chroma. Synchronisation requires a compatible motherboard header or controller and matching software.
